It’s always a highlight for me to see people again that I have met at a previous wedding I worked. And even more so when I get to work with those people. I met these two cuties last year photographing a super funky campground wedding. It was a nice surprise when Madison contacted me to shoot their engagement photography session.
So this session consisted of an abandoned barn and a run around the local airstrip. This is totally my kind of thing, but it’s not without its challenges. I almost had a mouse touch my foot (eeeeeeek!) and Kyle almost had an owl attack him (slight exaggeration). Actually, the owl did nothing but sit there and look totally majestic and make my week. But if big birds aren’t your thing, it can be pretty daunting. I came home covered in sticky burrs that I’m still picking out of my clothes, shoes and even hair, and questionable abandoned barn debris. They asked for rustic, I gave them rustic! And then we headed to little airport up the road where “borrowing” air crafts as backdrops was just as fun.
And now, here are the sneak peeks and the results of our little adventure engagement photography session.
